There are three types of breast lift: standard, doughnut and lollipop. Here’s what you need to know about each option:

Our standard breast lift procedure involves an anchor-shaped incision around the areola, down the front of the breast, and along the breast crease. Through this opening, our experienced surgeons can reduce sagginess, and restore a perkier firmer chest.

The doughnut is ideal for La Jolla women with smaller breasts who require less skin removal. It involves a single incision around the areola, and is associated with minimal scarring with a faster recovery period when compared to the other techniques.

The lollipop lift is the happy medium between the standard and the doughnut. It involves an incision around the areola and down the front of the breast. There’s less scarring than the standard approach. It allows for more tissue removal, and reshaping than the doughnut technique.

As with any surgical procedure, you will need to plan some time off to take it easy. You will experience a bit some swelling and bruising after a breast lift. A support bra will help with any swelling and should be worn 24 hours a day.
