What is an arm lift?
Do you feel self-conscious wearing sleeveless or short-sleeved clothing? Many women hide their upper arms because they feel that they are too bulky or loose.
Also known as brachioplasty, an arm lift is a surgical procedure that improves the contour of the upper arm area by:
- Reducing excess sagging skin

Unfortunately, loose skin does not respond easily to exercise. An arm lift is not a weight loss procedure; it is designed to re-contour the upper arms and make them narrower or leaner. The ideal candidates are patients with reasonable expectations. Arm Lift options
At Esthetica, we can sculpt beautiful arms in one of two ways. The first is with a traditional arm lift, which involves removing excess loose skin. Although this approach is very effective in addressing unwanted fat and drooping tissue, it does leave a scar.
As for arm liposuction, this simple and safe technique, that can remove unwanted fat from the arm area. The scars associated with liposuction are very minimal, but the technique can only address unwanted fat. As such, it may not be sufficient on its own for patients who have substantial skin laxity. Depending on their needs and goals, many of our clients benefit from a combination of a traditional arm lift and liposuction.
Results
Whether you choose a traditional arm lift, arm liposuction or a combination of the two, you will notice an improvement in the contour of your arms immediately after surgery. These results will continue to improve as your swelling subsides, and within three months your final outcome should emerge with toned and slender arms.
